Description of the works:
The construction of 11m span precast arch bridge segments to form a 'railway tunnel', 145m long. This alternative design was the first of it's kind in Europe and recieved numerous accolades for it's conceptual design and construction. The contract also included the construction of portal walls and precast parapet units.
